Denial code CO-97 (CARC)

CARC CO-97 is commonly used when payment is included in a bundled or global allowance for another service on the same claim. A code on your EOB or denial letter explaining why a claim was not paid or was reduced. Standard codes are CARC (Claim Adjustment Reason Codes) and RARC (Remittance Advice Remark Codes).
